Even though the Thunder led the entire 4th quarter this game was still a nail-biter. What can I say about Kevin Durant in the fourth quarter… he fucking made what seemed like the same shot time after time! He scored 16 points in a row for the Thunder in the 4th quarter, constantly keeping the Thunder just outside of the Spurs grasp (sorta like that summer six-pack for me).
Other incredible stand-outs were Serge Ibaka who went 11 for 11 by setting some big picks for easy buckets. On the Spurs end, it has to be Kawhi Leonard. Solid defence and a handful of clutch shots made sure that the Spurs could’ve still had a fighting chance (sorta like that summer six-pack for me).
Typical output from the rest of the gang. Oh, and Thabo Sefolosha made the game-ending steal with 38 seconds to go. He’s really having a break-out performance in this series.
They did what!?
The starting Thunder front-court made 78% of their field goal attempts and 93% of their free throw attempts. Those are some clutch bigs.
